The space agency NASA issues warning Hazardous Asteroid Approaching Towards Earth. It also expects three asteroids to pass Earth today.

NASA has issued a warning about another ‘possibly deadly’ asteroid approaching Earth in the next days, as three enormous airplane-sized asteroids are set to pass past Earth today. While the ones passing Earth today are said to be at a safe distance, NASA says the one passing us next week, 1994 WR12, will be larger than a football field and pass Earth at a closer distance.

A little divergence in the route, according to the NASA assessment, might result in humanity becoming extinct like the dinosaurs. It also indicated that it might come as near as 3.8 million miles this time, but that it could go as close as 1.01 million miles by 2046, according to experts.

While NASA has previously computed and projected the paths of asteroids as they approach Earth, they have also stated that none of them represent a concern in the next years. However, on Nov. 25, the space agency also launched the Double Asteroid Redirection Test (DART) to dodge any potential asteroids.

The current scenario reminds us of Adam McKay’s latest satirical sci-fi film, which stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence as astronomers who try to warn everyone about the comet that would bring humanity’s doom. The Adam McKay film which also features Timothée Chalamet, Jonah Hill, Ariana Grande, Cate Blanchett, Meryl Streep and others in important parts, has already won numerous accolades after being showered
